Time for a new Mandate for Endometriosis
On average, it takes over nine years to receive a diagnosis for Endometriosis, and to me, the incredible, slow injustice of this situation highlights the current crisis. This issue has been neglected for far too long, despite the efforts of dedicated campaigners and organizations striving to be heard. With only 2% of annual funding allocated to pregnancy, childbirth, and female reproductive health research, and with billions of pounds lost annually in productivity, the time for action is now. We must urgently follow the example set by the pioneers of the menopause mandate and call for national focus, investment, and support. We need an Endometriosis mandate.
